Working with churches in our local community
Our YWAM team strongly believes in establishing good relationships in the community with local churches and supporting them in the best way possible. Each of the DTS students and several of our staff are involved in either running or supporting youth work in various churches in our local communities. We are currently linked with The Ark, The Gateway Centre, St. Aiden’s and St. Stephen’s Parish, Acomb Baptist Church, and St. Paul’s in Holgate.
We have also teamed up with St. Michael le Belfry Church in the city centre for Summer Soul, a ten day outreach and evangelism event for students.
