Creativity and the arts have been a running theme throughout YWAM York. We have had lots of creative people through our doors on DTS and staff. We welcome creativity and giving people the space to explore how we can use the arts as a means of expressing and communicating who God is and his passion for the world.
Over the last few years several of our team have been using art to connect with people and help them express themselves, to share stories of the marginalised and to challenge and even provoke the general public to respond to social injustices in society both here in the UK and abroad.
In September 2009 we planted a team in Chapletown Leeds with a specific focus on the arts for more information check out the YWAM Leeds website
