Our vision is to see people grow through not only theoretical learning but practical hands on experience.
In between each lecture week you will have one to two weeks of outreach serving the community in York.
YWAM York is privileged to be connected with various city-wide churches, ministries and community projects. These will allow for a rich & varied experience where you will no doubt be challenged but also encouraged as you try new things and see God at work through you.
Ministries could include:
Youth and/or children’s work
Schools work
Evangelism to York’s pubber’s and clubber’s
Work with the homeless and vulnerable
Practical decorating/gardening projects
Working with the elderly
Working with students (international and British)
Using the Arts for promoting social justice and/or evangelism
