Discipleship Training School
In York we run a 9 month DTS, this is a training course which allows you the opportunity to not only go deeper in your relationship and understanding of God and His Kingdom but also to influence and impact a city and the nations.
The next DTS starts in September 2012. Our approach here in York is one week of intensive teaching and then 1 week of practical hands on experience in local ministry during the 7 month lecture phase. This allows plenty of time for processing the teaching, personal growth and ministering to others. Some of the ways this is outworked is through interactive lectures, worship & prayer, small group discussions, one to one mentoring times and socially through living and working together. This is followed by a 2 month overseas outreach .
It is very much a time of investment into getting to know God and yourself better and begin working on areas of growth in your life as well as going out and being a blessing locally and globally.

Cost:£3800 + the cost of outreach, flights and transport, vaccinations and visas (varies depending on location approx £1600)
